For many, casket burials represent the most traditional way to place a loved one in their forever home. Traditional burials are described as caskets which are buried in the ground, usually in a vault or grave liner. Here at Seven Stones we offer several plot options, also known as graves or spaces, where our traditional ground burials take place.

Memorialization options for ground burials range from bronze to granite, boulders, glass or metal. Memorials can be placed in an upright fashion or lower to the ground.

PROS OF A TRADITIONAL BURIAL

You may find that traditional burial is the right fit for you and your family for these reasons:

Traditional casket burial may give a family a greater sense of comfort knowing that their loved one will be protected, complete and whole in perpetuity.
For some people, dressing up the body of their loved one and placing them in a beautiful casket is the most reverent way to say good-bye.
Allowing the body to be placed at a permanent gravesite or a mausoleum that marks the resting place of a family member may also be seen as favorable.
The standard practice of embalming for a traditional burial offers some flexibility on timing and transport. If necessary, the deceased can be transported long distances days, weeks or months after death. Also, viewing becomes possible when embalmed.
