A free “Before the Mourning” Breakfast Series examining end-of-life Issues will be held this October and November.
Jewish Family Service of Colorado, Feldman Mortuary and Shalom Cares will present 9-10:30 a.m. Thursdays October 27-November 17 at Shalom Cares, 14800 E. Belleview Drive in Aurora.
The series will feature local experts and spiritual leaders who will help participants navigate the difficulties and sorrows of end-of-life issues.
October 27: “Power of Attorney Pitfalls…as Observed by a Move and Transitions Expert,” presented by Kelly O’Connor, MA, CSA, area owner, Senior Care Authority
November 3: “Designing Your Legacy,” presented by Jennifer Kraft, Legacy Architects Group
November 10: “Ritual Healing: Providing a Path to Wholeness,” presented by Jamie Sarché, director of prearranged funeral services, Feldman Mortuary
November 17: “Mother and Daughter: Co-authors of the Last Chapters,” presented by Libby Bortz, LCSW, and Patty Bortz, CSA, JFS at Home community relations representative
