We feel so fortunate to have partnered with some great community organizations this year! It benefits everyone when we can amplify the efforts of one another; in 2017, we had the opportunity to get involved in the following ways:
Walk 2 Connect: Seven Stones provided a rest stop and goodies for walkers on their last leg of the 71-Mile High Line Canal walking adventure.
Bonfils Blood Center: We hosted the Bonfils Blood Center at our spring Time and Togetherness event, drawing 21 donors who saved 60 lives.
Roxborough Area Historical Society: Our grounds were the site for a historical lecture on the High Line Canal near Roxborough (given by the High Line Canal Conservancy), followed by a nature walk led by our neighbor, the Audubon Society of Greater Denver.
Chamber of Commerce of Highlands Ranch/Roxborough Business Association: Seven Stones hosted the Chamber Business After Hours event on a beautiful summer evening, providing a casual environment in which local business women and men could network.
Roxborough Arts Council: Seven Stones partnered with RoxArts to provide an outdoor venue for their artists’ beautiful work. RoxArts and Seven Stones also paired to host four pieces of outdoor art sponsored by Douglas County Art Encounters and SCFD.
Denver Senior Coalition: Gretchen Guerra serves as a speaker coordinator for the Southwest Chapter.
Our team looks forward to growing involvement in our region in 2018. If you think Seven Stones would be a good fit for an event or activity, please contact us at info@discoversevenstones.com. Our deepest thanks to all who took part in building up this area we call home!
