Thank you to everyone who attended our May 2017 Time and Togetherness. We couldn’t have planned a more beautiful or interesting day, and it all started with the heroes.
Last Saturday’s Time & Togetherness event at Seven Stones Botanical Gardens Cemetery was anchored by a Bonfils Blood Drive, and the heroes who pledged to save lives didn’t disappoint. In fact it was a huge success, exceeding the expected donations. Thank you to those compassionate individuals who participated!
There were many other activities on this gorgeous Colorado spring day. Yogis kicked off the morning with a vinyasa class led by instructor Barbara Meadows under the shade of our committal structure accompanied by gentle breezes and the peaceful burble of our brook.
Kids who visited got to try their hand at a clay-stamping art activity or learn more about the fascinating lives of bees from the keepers who own the hives at Seven Stones.
Families enjoyed the sunshine with games of cornhole and Giant Jenga, while singer Mindy Sterling performed hit classics.
Guests also toured the beautiful grounds and sampled delicious Senegalese cuisine from the Pikine Grill Food Truck.
It was an amazing opportunity to spend time with family and friends, try new things and do good for the community. Thank you to everyone who shared this rewarding day with us!
