As we’re nearing the end of 2024 and nature is preparing for its quiet hibernation, at Seven Stones we reflect on a year filled with connection, gratitude, and resilience.

We started 2024 with the same quiet and peaceful beauty. Nature’s transformations in the gardens never fail to inspire us—from the playful ice formations to deer visiting our gardens and basking in the morning sun. These serene moments, framed by snowy landscapes and crisp sunlight, remind us of the peaceful charm that makes Seven Stones so special.
In February, we were honored to support the Kendrick Castillo Memorial Fund, working with the Castillo’s to create a lasting memorial for Kendrick. Later in March, we admired the way our gardens came alive with spring blooms, inspiring new ways to share their beauty.

As we move through the year, spring stands out as a season of color, remembrance, and connection. April brought vibrant blooms that painted the gardens in rich colors, thanks to the dedication of our garden crew. Their hard work, with a bit of help from nature in the forms of rain and sunshine, transformed the landscape into a breathtaking tapestry that welcomed everyone who visited.

May was a month of reverence and tradition, as we extended our annual tradition of free scattering in our Canyon View Commons Ossuary for the entire month. This “give-back” offering is a small way we honor families seeking a forever resting place for loved ones, and we’re deeply grateful to be able to support our community during these times.
In May we also gathered for our “Time & Togetherness” event. With clear skies, we gathered to reconnect with friends and neighbors. Your presence made it a truly special day, reminding us of the strength and warmth of our Seven Stones community.

In June, we welcomed the summer season with our first gardening workshop of the year, and also our Summer Yoga kicking off. Our gardening workshop led by Betsy and Amy created our Cutting Garden, which has provided a colorful array of flowers that would bloom throughout the summer. We’re grateful for the enthusiastic workshop participants that have made this possible.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Your presence, in person and in spirit, enriches our community in ways words can’t fully express. Here’s to another year of growth, remembrance, and connection.

With gratitude,
The Seven Stones Team
