Women Who Soar Event, Honoring Local Leaders
In October, Seven Stones Chatfield was proud to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 7th Annual Women Who Soar event, a powerful gathering honoring the remarkable contributions of three outstanding women in our community. The event, created in partnership with local businesses and the Douglas County Economic Development Corporation, celebrates local women who are blazing trails and who uplift, inspire, and lead through their dedication and service.
This year’s honorees included:
- Kara Baker, a cardiac nurse honoring the memory of her dad by raising awareness and improving accessibility of AEDs outside of schools and local parks.
- Donna Miller, a gifted and selfless pilot sharing her love and passion for flying with new pilots, as well as, honoring those trailblazers who came before her.
- Karen Leigh, an accomplished journalist and evening news anchor who embodies faith, perseverance and dedication to her family and God.
Events like Women Who Soar shine a light on the incredible work being done in our communities by women whose quiet strength and unwavering dedication make a lasting impact. At Seven Stones, we believe in celebrating the people who make our community a better place to live, work, and grow, and we are honored to lift up these exceptional women as they continue to make a difference.
